ADHESIVES, SEALANTS, AND COATINGS
PITTCOTE® 300 Finish(USA)
is a vapor and weather barrier asphalt coating especially formulated for use with FOAMGLAS® insulation in the low to moderate temperature range. It is available in trowel or spray grade. Spray grade is special order. Application is by spray, trowel or glove.

PITTCOTE® 404 Coating(USA)
is a highly flexible, acrylic latex coating used with FOAMGLAS® insulation where a superior weather barrier coating is required. It is available in colors and may be applied by glove, trowel, brush or spray.

PC® Fabric 79 (USA / EU)
is an open mesh, synthetic fabric for reinforcing PITTCOTE® products 300 and 404 when applied over FOAMGLAS® insulation. The large mesh openings allow the coating to easily penetrate and bond to the insulation and fabric. The thickness of the fabric assures that the proper thickness of the coating is applied and gives the required strength. The high elongation accommodates large and mechanical movements without rupture and allows maximum movement of the coating.

PITTSEAL® 444N SEALANT(USA)
is a specially formulated butyl sealand used for sealing joints in FOAMGLAS® insulation systems and to seal protrusions and metal jacket laps. This single component sealant is certified to meet stanless steel service requirements of MIL-I-24244 and NRC Regulatory Guide 1.36. It is compatible with a wide variety of coatings.

PITTSEAL® CW(USA)
is a sealant specifically formulated for sealing the joint of FOAMGLAS insulation in chilled water service.

PC® 88 ADHESIVE(USA, EU)
is a two part adhesive for bonding FOAMGLAS® insulation to itself or to our porous or non-porous substrates. Air curing is not required. It has flexible wetting characteristics and cures to form a flexible bond that absorbs mechanical and thermal shock.

HOLD Catalyst (USA/EU)
is a solution which is applied by a suitable small sprayer to accelerate the cure of PC® 88 ADHESIVE. It provides a quick set and helps reduce or eliminate the time needed for temporary support in unsupported or overhead applications. It can also be used to help with fabrication of insulation shapes when using the 88 as a bonding adhesive.
Please note: This material does not replace any component of PC® 88 Adhesive.
Hydrocal® B-11(USA)
is a reactive gypsum product that is mixed with water to form an inorganic non-combustible adhesive or coating for fabricating, bore coating, or forming HT reinforced FOAMGLAS® insulation shapes.

RTV 450 Silicone Adhesive(USA)
is a one part acetoxy cure silicone adhesive / sealant formulated for use at high temperatures. It is particularly suited for use in conjunction with insulations which require adhering or sealing to itself or hot surfaces. It cures to an elastomeric solid at room temperatures.

PC® 136 Adhesive(USA)
is a reactive cementitious product that is mixed with water to form an inorganic noncombustible adhesive or coating for fabricating or bore coating. It is normally used for ambient and above temperatures where stress crack corrosion of stainless steel is a concern.
PC® 56 ADHESIVE (EU)
is a two-component solvent-free adhesive, which combines the benefits of bitumen and cement. Service temperature range is -15C to 45C (5F to 113F).

PC® 500 ADHESIVE(EU)
is a single component bituminous adhesive with low solvent content and a high content of extenders. It retains long-term flexibility, does not freeze, and is thixotropic. Service temperatures for applications to a variety of substrates is -30C to 80C (-22F to 176F).

PC® 18 ADHESIVE(EU)
is a single component cold bituminous adhesive ready to use. It is used to seal the longitudinal and circumferential joints of FOAMGLAS® insulation on chilled water lines. It cures to form a flexible non-aging adhesive with very good adhesion.

PC® 150 ADHESIVE MESH(EU)
is an open mesh, alkali-resistant glass fabric for reinforceing mastic finishes over FOAMGLAS® insulation. It has large mesh opening (approx. 3mm) which allow heavy mastics or minteral coatings to easily penetrate and bond to insulation and fabric surfaces. It is especially suited for use with PC® 74 A2.

PC® 74 A2 COATING(EU)
is a dry mineral coating used with glass fabric as a non-combustible coating and as an adhesive for FOAMGLAS® insulation. It contains a special mixture of sands, cement, and hydrated lime.

PC® 80 MORTAR(EU)
is a two component inorganic mortar used to adhere FOAMGLAS® insulation to itself within a wide temperature or cycling temperature range. Service temperature is between -196 and 380C.

TEROSTAT-PC® FR(EU)
is a single component sealant, coating, and adhesive. It is a silane modified polymer base which cures on reaction with moisture. It contains no solvents, isocyanates, silicones, or PVC. It also provides good weathering and chemical resistance.

PC® 11 ADHESIVE(EU)
is a single component cold bituminous adhesive ready to use. It is especially suitable for adhering FOAMGLAS® insulation to metal surfaces. It cures to form a flexible, non-aging material with very good adhesion.

PC® 85 POWDER(EU)
is a mineral-based inorganic powder that has been formulated for filling open surface cells of cellular glass when used in liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, and hot tank base insulation. It is used with appropriate interleaving materials to achieve the desired weight load distribution under EN 826 or ASTM C240-91 testing conditions.

PC® HIGH TEMP ANTI ABRASIVE (EU)
is a one component dry mix of modified calcium sulphate with inert mineral fillers. It is used as a reinforcement for high temperature applications and when needed for dual temperature applications. When dry it forms a hard protective surface which fills the surface cells of the insulation and provides abrasion protection up to 350C (662F).

PC® 86T COMPOUND(EU)
is a single component bitumen emulsion product with fillers which offers good resistance to high temperatures. It is suitable for use on FOAMGLAS® insulation as a bedding compound for specific load bearing applications. Service temperature range is -10C to 90C.

JACKETING
PITTWRAP® JACKETING(USA)
is a heat sealable multiple laminate for protecting underground FOAMGLAS® insulation for outer surfact temperatures below 88C (190F). It consists of three layers of a polymer modified bitumen compound separated by glass fabric reinforcement and aluminum foil. An outer layer of polyester film is laminated to the bitumen compound. A release paper prevents sticking in the roll before use.

PITTWRAP® SS JACKETING(USA)
is a 1.78mm (70 mil) thick self-sealing modified bitumen membrane for protecting underground FOAMGLAS® insulation systems with outer temperatures below 77C (170F). Manual pressure seals the jacket without the use of a torch or heater. It may also be factory applied on the insulation by a fabricator. SS consists of a polymer modified bitumen compound reinforced with a glass fabric, a 0.03mm (1 mil) aluminum top film and a release paper backing.

PITTWRAP® SS PRIMER(USA)
is specially formulated to promote adhesion of the SS Wrap when the laps are slightly dusty or the application is below 10C (50F).

PITTWRAP® CW PLUS JACKETING(USA)
is a 1.27mm (50 mil) thick self-sealing modified bitumen membrane for protecting undergroung FOAMGLAS® insulation on chilled water and hot service pipelines. Manual pressure seals the jacket without the use of a torch or heater. It may be factory applied by a fabricator or field applied by the insulation contractor.

is a .076mm (30 mil) thick self-sealing non metallic sheet for protecting above ground FOAMGLAS® insulation for chilled water and hot service under a metal jacket. Manual pressure seals the jacketing without the use of a torch or heater.

PITTWRAP® IW 50(USA)
is a 1.27 mm (50 mil) modified bitumen self-sealing jacket which is applied to FOAMGLAS® insulation when used on cold and cryogenic pipes for both physical protection and additional vapor protection. It always is covered with a metal jacket.

DAMP PROOF COURSE MEMBRANE
PITTCOURSE™ 100
is a modified bitument damp proof course to be used in conjunction with FOAMGLAS® HLB Insulation on cold and cryogenic tank bases.

PITTCOTE® TB Primer
is a low VOC cut-back asphalt of a thin brush, roll or spray consistency. When applied, the material will be minimally tacky and exhibit a dark black color.
This product is typically used to prime porous and prepared substrates. By applying this primer, substrates will be made smoother and more compatible for applying PITTCOURSE™ 100 High Performance Bitumen Damp Proof Course (DPC). The priming of these surfaces creates a greater surface area contact which results in maximized points of contact for the DPC.
