Combustible liquids

Fires can result even in organic insulations from the absorption of combustible liquids, such as oils and heat transfer fluids. This comes about not only from the wicking effect of most insulations, but from the slow oxidation of the organic liquids which can cause a temperature buildup within the insulation that will eventually lead to auto-ignition.
